Text messaging terms & conditions
Whitten & Proctor Fine Art Conservation ("we," "us") offers text messaging so that clients can communicate with the studio about their inquiries and treatments. These terms describe how our messaging program works. Last updated July 2026.
Program description
Messages from us are conversational and service-related: responses to your inquiries, appointment scheduling and reminders, updates about the examination or treatment of your artwork, and requests for photographs or information needed to assist you. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Opt-in
You opt in to receive text messages from us by checking the SMS consent box on our contact form, by providing your mobile number and asking us to text you, or by initiating a text message conversation with us at 713-426-0191. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of engaging our services.
Message frequency and fees
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the studio. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP to any message from us to opt out at any time; you will receive a final message confirming your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or call the studio at 713-426-0191.
Privacy
Your mobile number and text messaging opt-in information are used only to communicate with you about your inquiry and our work for you. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy note for details.
